Our Journey
From a Local Vision to Lethbridge's Gymnastics Hub
Founded with a passion for movement and a commitment to youth development, West Wind Gymnastics Club began as a small community initiative in Lethbridge. What started with a handful of dedicated coaches and a few sets of mats has blossomed into the city's premier non-profit gymnastics and trampoline center.
West Wind Gymnastics opened its doors in September 1976 and has grown into a respected club in Canadian gymnastics. Through the late 1980s and 1990s, our programs consistently produced National Stream and High Performance athletes, helping a small Lethbridge club make its mark on the national stage. Over the years, our coaching teams and volunteers have built a tradition of hard work, excellence, and pride that continues to guide West Wind today.
